Bacton Transport’s roots in the agricultural industry have borne fruit in our services in sectors requiring some very particular expertise. This includes our Hazchem, or dangerous goods work, through the Hazchem Network; our fertiliser transport which conforms to the FIAS Scheme; and specific expertise in horticultural product.
Bacton has a specialised fleet for the transport of nursery plants to garden centres and landscapers throughout the UK, from the cliffs of Cornwall to the tips of the Scottish Highlands. Working with live and delicate products takes care, expertise and rigorous planning.
We have adapted trailers to take specialist trolleys for the movement of plants; and created our own unique strapping system to guarantee load safety.
