TPN offers a range of distribution and delivery services for palletised freight whatever the size of consignment, budget or required delivery time-frame.

These include next-day, timed or economy deliveries of standard pallets. It also offers a booked service for unusual freight, TPN XL, which is handled separately to the standard freight, and can be treated with the expertise it requires.

TPN Members comprise 105 of the best independent transport companies with 121 depot locations across the UK. TPN also offers a comprehensive network throughout Europe and Scandinavia and we have a sister network, in Ireland.

All of TPN services are characterised by excellent customer service from the moment the job is booked to the moment your customer signs for their goods, whether that is  business partner or a householder. All pallets which are collected by TPN Members will be labelled and scanned, giving full visibility of freight for all customers. Our electronic proof of delivery (ePOD) system is award-winning and our IT sector-leading. TPN and its Members all pride themselves on excellent communication, using the latest in technology and the old-fashioned method of picking up the phone.

Our Northern Hub

TPN also has a Northern Hub, located near Preston, which handles pallets which both originate in and are destined for Northern postcodes. This means that Northern customer sending freight to clients who are also in the North know that their deliveries will be greener and more efficient, with lower mileage,, lower carbon footprints and better service times.


The traditional pallet network model is designed to take standard pallets overnight. This means that Hubs are usually under-utilised during the day but more importantly for the customer, it means that unusual or bulky freight which doesn’t fit the standard profile is often treated as the unwanted guest.  Most pallet networks lack expertise for unusual freight and do not prioritise its service. TPN has changed this with TPN XL – a dedicated, capacity-managed service for unusual or bulky freight. The Minworth Hub is now used during the day to take such freight with the time, care and expertise it requires and deliver it within pre-arranged windows.
